snubbed

I was getting into my car today when I looked up and saw Dee Dee across the street, staring at me. This was nothing new, of course, but I thought I'd throw her a bone with a little friendly greeting.

"Hey! How are ya, Dee Dee?"

Nothing. She continued to stare at me but did not even wave. Something must be wrong. Maybe she's sick or something?

"Isn't the weather gorgeous today?!!"
I was being extra-cheery and loud, just in case she didn't hear me the first time.

More puffs of smoke from the Pall Malls, but I could not detect even a smirk from her crinkly mouth.

I got in my car and drove away. She snubbed me! I got snubbed by my crazy neighbor!


Then relief set in. Could this really be the end of Dee Dee and me?!!

a kindergarten concept

Today, a rather interesting question was asked of me:

DeeDee: "What's happening to all the grass around here?"

Me: "Uh, what do you mean?"

DeeDee: "Well, it's like...brown. Why is it all turning brown all of a sudden?"

Me: "Oh. Because it's summer now. The sun is out...you know, and there isn't as much rain? So the grass is dying..."

DeeDee: "Weird. I've never heard of that. Are you sure you know what you're talking about?"

??!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Myspace is really getting on my nerves lately. I have this little habit of talkin' mad smack about my neighbors, blind dates, and celebrities. The thing is, I don't want these people to think I'm a bad person just because I secretly can't stand them. I don't want to hurt their feelings and I don't want to start any drama. I just like to vent! I also like to share my opinions about things without getting verbally crucified for them...anyway, this blogger.com thing will probably last about two minutes, but for now, this is where you can find me. I think we can all agree that you'll love it.
